Education
So much more than just Brick and Mortar. Training and education is the foundation the BAC membership advantage. We provide in-depth, quality training and educational courses for our membership from day one.
New BAC apprentices receive critical job preparation skills through the IMTEF pre-job training programs. Along with craft-specific technical and hands-on training, they learn health, safety and workplace skills. When our apprentices complete the program, they are ready to contribute safely and productively on the job-site.
APPRENTICESHIPS - The other four year degree.
Skilled BAC Craftworkers begin their careers as apprentices through our Joint Apprentice and Training Committees (JATC). Apprenticeships typically last 3–4 years, during which apprentices receive classroom, shop, and on-the-job-training. Much of that training is provided at our training centers, as well as the National Training Center.
